We have already seen Jelena Jankovic’s Fila dress for the 2014 French Openthe navy cheerleader-style item from the brand’s Heritage collection, and now a month and a half later we are learning what other Fila women will wear at the big clay stage – Julia Goerges (pictured below), Nadia Petrova, Vera Zvonareva and Yaroslava Shvedova will wonderfully combine yellow with navy and white.

Navy has frequently been the dominant color in Fila’s lines, but Ginny Hilfiger who designed this latest collection, drawing inspiration from the brand’s museum in Biella, Italy, added a lively twist by perfectly-coordinated pattern codes of navy and white stripes. The unexpected touch of yellow adds extra depth to the entire look. Great job for Ginny, even more so since this is her first tennis collection!

The WTA Fila representatives will wear this lovely Heritage Racer Tank with square-shaped neck and cute contrast band at racer back featuring the logo. The tank also comes in white, with the same navy stripe on hem.

I love the ruffles on the back of the Spring Heritage Ruffle Stripe Skort and how well the designer executed the stripes.

Those who prefer solids can also find something for themselves in this collection, as it includes pure navy, yellow and white dresses, tanks, T-shirts and skorts. If you’re from the US, check out all the Fila Spring Heritage Group clothes here, while Europeans should browse the collection here. (via Tennis Identity)

  1. Dxana, really? I like it a lot! JJ’s dress so so, although it will work great on her I believe, but the separates are amazing, IMO.

  2. @Marija yellow and navy blue to me just doesn’t work but it just me lol. I’m very critical this week on design style. lol

  3. Dxana, maybe you’ll get to like it by the time of RG 🙂 I agree that yellow and navy+white is not something we’re used to, but I like the experiment, it is daring and controversial but still classic in a way.

  4. I love it!!! i love the colors design everything but i think outfit would’ve been more appealing if used during IW and miami rather than clay i think

  5. I love it! But, the only thing I would have changed is the navy and white part at the bottom of the top! I would have kept this plain yellow, because imo the top seems “too short” at first sight…
