While the WTA official website is virtually all about the grand Singapore event, we’re continuing our coverage of the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open and today’s victors in the semifinals are world No.60 Annika Beck and world No.31 Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.

This week Beck ended her seven-match losing streak and has now repeated her last year’s feat of reaching the Luxembourg final. It was a straightforward semifinal victory for the German, who lost just one game against Czech Denisa Allertova, 6-0 6-1. Flying like this on the court, no wonder Beck has made it all the way to the title match (thanks, Jimmie48, for this awesome shot!).

As you can see, our other Luxembourg finalist is also very determined (I’m sure that the tongue does help!). In the second semifinal on Friday, the fourth-seeded Zahlavova Strycova faced Mona Barthel, broke her opponent’s serve early in both sets and never let the German get even close to her. Final score: 6-3 6-2.

Fashion info: Annika Beck is doing her on-court magic in Nike‘s Winter Advantage Print Tank with a subtle dot print, the photogenic Nike Women’s Winter Woven Pleat Skirt and the Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour turquoise shoes, while Zahlavova Strycova is wearing Wilson‘s Fall Ashland X-Back Tank with wide elastic cross-back straps and the matching skirt in the color of deep plum.
