Daria Gavrilova enjoyed a highly successful 2015 and the achievements have materialized in an apparel contract with Asics. The Russian-Australian shared this photo today on Twitter, saying:
Happy to announce that I am an Asics girl!
The 21-year-old Gavrilova ended 2014 ranked No.233, while now she’s as high as No.36 (one spot lower than her October’s career-best of No.35). We’ve seen so much of Gavrilova recently that we tend to forget that only in March did she crack the Top 100, famously beating Maria Sharapova in the second round of Miami and commenting on it by saying: “I’ve probably been visualizing beating her since I was 12.”
Dasha has now joined the Asics family which most notably includes WTA stars such as Samantha Stosur, Francesca Schiavone, Coco Vandeweghe, and Johanna Konta.
Asics is known for sticking to classic sports looks, never venturing into the world of wild prints, lace or experimental cuts. Look, even the colorblocking they used in this Asics Women’s Fall Athlete Dress is very subtle, as well as arrow-shaped laser cut design at back.

Congratulations to Daria! Well deserved. I hope Asics launch something fun and exciting collection for her. She’s very talented and she has so many potentials.
Emman Damian, I also saw that Monica Puig, who is wearing Ellesse clothing, has some super cool Asics Gel-Quantum 360 running shoes. I saw it on Twitter: https://twitter.com/MonicaAce93/status/664459263855747072
