Germany and Switzerland ended Saturday in Leipzig in a leveled fashion as both teams managed to win a singles match during their Fed Cup tie inside Leipzig’s exhibition center.
Both country’s number one players delivered what the fans expected: Belinda Bencic’s victory over Andrea Petkovic was followed up by Angelique Kerber’s win over Timea Bacsinszky. The Australian Open champ celebrated a successful homecoming in front of more than 4000 fans.
