Arthur Borges’ marriage with Finnish figure skater Kiira Korpi
Arthur Borges has only recently separated from his wife, figure skater Kiira Korpi. Thanks to the research of our loyal reader Jim, we learned that the 33-year-old Finnish athlete revealed the end of their marriage via an Instagram post in June this year.

Our journey together as a couple has come to an end. Eleven wonderful years together has taught us a lot. We have enjoyed our life together and we’re grateful for our beautiful friendship which we will certainly continue to cherish.
We love and appreciate each other deeply and wish well for each other. This is also difficult and sad and we appreciate that our privacy will be respected.
Arthur and Kiira started dating in 2010 and got engaged in May 2017. The beautiful figure skater known as Jääprinsessa (Ice Princess) showed her diamond engagement ring on social media.
Later on they had a fairytale wedding in Villa del Balbianello, Italy. Guests from the United States, Spain and Finland attended their romantic destination wedding on the shores of Lake Como.
Just three months after his ex-wife Kiira announced their separation, Arthur switched to the tennis world and joined Garbine at the September 27th – October 3rd Chicago Fall Tennis Classic. As our reader Kat informed us, during the Chicago tournament Arthur deleted all of his social media posts that featured his former partner, leaving his Instagram quite empty.
So far, Garbine Muguruza hasn’t commented on her relationship. The Spanish two-time Grand Slam champion can enjoy this off-season after a super successful year that saw her climb back to No.3 in the WTA rankings.

And that Kiira Korpi is from Finland, not Iceland.😂Korpi kind of looks like Anett Kontaveit, and I know that a lot of Estonians think they are Scandinavian and not Baltic. And aren’t there a few transplanted Finns who live in Estonia?
Jim, they say she looks like Grace Kelly, former princess of Monaco. She doesn’t remind me of Anett Kontaveit. She has a smile like Alize Cornet, at least in these engagement photos.
I also had to fix one error in the article, reader Kat was right, he deleted all his Instagram photos with his ex-wife. The one photo with a blond woman that I featured in the article, that is not Kiira.
