Retired American tennis player Nicole Gibbs will give birth to her first child in 2022. Soon after celebrating her second wedding anniversary, the 28-year-old announced that she is pregnant and revealed that the baby is expected to arrive in the spring.

Wearing heels and a tight black bodysuit, Gibbs showed her pregnancy belly and her house in Venice, California, which is under construction. The former world No.68, who quit tennis in February 2021, wrote on Instagram:
Home and family: under construction. Both due spring 2022.
In February 2018, after more than six years of dating, Nicole Gibbs got engaged to her boyfriend Jack Brody. The engagement took place at Stanford, at the place where they shared their first kiss.
A year later, on Halloween, the couple exchanged vows wearing skeleton onesies. A few days later, they had a destination wedding in Mexico. WTA players Caroline Wozniacki, Carol Zhao, Kristie Ahn and Asia Muhammad attended the wedding ceremony on the beach in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur.

Ten days ago, Gibbs posted one of her wedding photos and said:

The last professional tennis match that Gibbs played was an opening round loss to Shelby Rogers at the Oracle Challenger Series in Indian Wells in March 2020.
