A few months after making her relationship public during this year’s Roland Garros, Marion Bartoli married Yahya Boumediene, a 29-year-old Belgian soccer player of Moroccan descent.

The 2013 Wimbledon champion shared the above photo on Instagram, saying:

Forever yes! One of the most beautiful days in my life! I am so happy and touched to become your woman, my love. I look forward to spending the rest of my life by your side, to love you, to encourage you, to take care of you. The first time I saw you, I knew our story would be exceptional. I love you, my life, Yahya Boumediene.

Just like Bartoli, Boumediene posted the above photo to his Instagram story. He added a hashtag “wifey”.

The 35-year-old Bartoli has recently taken up a coaching role, working with 2017 Roland Garros champion Jelena Ostapenko, and the new team quickly scored major success, as the retired tennis star led the Latvian to the Luxembourg Open champion’s trophy, her first WTA title since 2017. Bartoli’s then-boyfriend Boumediene was by her side in Luxembourg.
