What a turbulent week in off-court women’s tennis! As if all the players waited for the Roland Garros-Wimbledon stretch to finish, so that they could get married or get pregnant! Last Saturday Dominika Cibulkova said “yes” to her fiancé in Bratislava, then Ana Ivanovic tied the knot in Venice, yesterday Victoria Azarenka shocked us all by announcing pregnancy, and now I hear that Tsvetana Pironkova‘s wedding was today. My WTA Players and their Love Partners page is going to explode! 🙂
Pironkova’s marriage to former football player Mihail Mirchev is not a surprise, as they got engaged way back in 2014, after about five years of dating, and the wedding had been reported in the news to be planned for after Wimbledon 2016. Congratulations to the lovely couple!
