Azarenka speeds up her comeback, we’ll see her in Mallorca

It’s all set now — Victoria Azarenka is returning from her maternity leave at the Mallorca Open which begins on June 19.

At the end of March, the mother of five-month-old Leo said that she would make a comeback during the US Open Series, later confirming that it would be at the July 31st – August 6th Bank of the West Classic in Stanford. The Belarusian, however, is ready even earlier than planned, so it’s official now that we’ll see her during the grasscourt season, first in Spain and then at Wimbledon.

And that’s not all, the 27-year-old Azarenka said on social media two days ago: “Plus Leo kinda said he wants to see London and Wimbledon.” Vika is apparently eager to make her baby son a globetrotter that she is! 🙂

Don’t know about her being a threat to the top ten, but it’ll be good to see her make that comeback. “Go, Vika!”

It will be fun to see Vika play again. The goal is get her some matches again. I think she’ll be a threat to the current Top 10.
