Wilson and Billie Jean King have partnered to create three exclusive products that celebrate the new film “Battle of the Sexes”, a biographical sports drama which tells the amazing story of the historic 1973 tennis match between women’s world champion Billie Jean King (Emma Stone) and ex-men’s-champ Bobby Riggs (Steve Carell).

The Billie Jean King 1.0 racquet design was created by the tennis great herself on the Wilson Custom Racquet Shop. The motivation for the design goes back to when Billie Jean, at the age of 11, saved up enough money to buy her very first Wilson tennis racquet which she loved so much that she slept with it every night.

After King defeated Riggs in three sets, she founded the Women’s Sports Foundation to ensure that all girls get access to sports. The match, billed as the Battle of the Sexes, became one of the most popular televised sports events of all time, reaching 90 million viewers around the world.

The Battle of the Sexes Limited Edition Duffle Bag is a replica of the Wilson red duffel highlighted in the film. It features a primary compartment to store your tennis gear and shoes, as well as a side pocket to house any smaller valuables or items you may carry around.

Billie and Bobby served up a cultural spectacle that resonated far beyond the tennis court, sparking discussions in bedrooms and boardrooms that continue to reverberate today.

The Women’s Battle of the Sexes Commemorative T-shirt captures King’s victory over Riggs, one of the greatest moments in the history of women’s sports. This design was created by New York-based illustrator Kali Ciesemier.

Wilson will donate 50% of the proceeds from the sale of this special “Battle of the Sexes” inspired gear to support the Women’s Sports Foundation and its programs.
