Mihaela Buzarnescu has officially signed on the dotted line to wear active wear brand Sofibella. Buzarnescu has been on a roll the last twelve months, moving from #377 in the world in singles to her current spot at #28. She’s also ranked #38 in doubles, having scored her first WTA doubles win in May at the Internationaux de Strasbourg.
The 30-year-old from Bucharest has been sporting the the Florida-based Sofibella line since 2016, but this makes it official, (and we presume more lucrative for the player). In the photos above and below, Mihaeala is sporting the Sofibella Women’s Rio Stride Tank, a two-in-one piece offering a layered look with contrast color built-in bra. Mesh at the neckline and racerback keeps you cool.
The top also includes optional cups for the bra, chest keyhole cutout, and UPF 50 sun protection. (You can’t fight your opponent and the sun at the same time.)
“Mihaela is a talented, young athlete who consistently shows passion, confidence and a drive to improve both on and off the court,” says Franco Forcella, founder and president of Sofibella. “Sofibella is one of the fastest growing tennis brands in the world and we are proud to have Mihaela, a rising star in the tennis world, join our family and help Sofibella to continue to deliver innovative, fashionable and high-performance products.”
Check out these recent photos from our photographer Jimmie48. Tennis Warehouse also offers another top Mihaela is wearing: the Rio Pocket Cami in Grey with Pink/White, paired with the matching Rio Backspin 12″ Skirt in Pink/White.
To complete the look, Mihaela rocks the visor from the Rio collection.
