In the world of tennis players, new year starts in late December, so the 2019 season is already underway at the Brisbane International in Australia and our photographer Jimmie48 arrived early to capture the atmosphere of the tournament’s warm-up period.
On Friday, December 28th, Heather Watson, Marta Kostyuk, Nicole Gibbs and others were playing the first round of qualifying, world No.4 Elina Svitolina climbed Brisbane’s Story Bridge, Kristina Mladenovic and Ajla Tomljanovic visited the East Street Markets, while Petra Kvitova, Karolina Pliskova and Daria Kasatkina were practicing.
