Maria Sharapova is a regular at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and this year she is accompanied by her boyfriend Alexander Gilkes at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday in Beverly Hills, California.
Getting ready for the glamorous event, Sharapova posted the above photo on Instagram with the caption: “It takes a village. Seriously.” Let’s see the result of the Russian’s high-profile fashion team, consisting of skincare specialists Joanna Czech and doctor Barbara Sturm, hair stylist Adir Abergel, makeup artist Molly R. Stern and stylist Tracy Taylor.
This time Sharapova opted for a georgette acid lime maxi dress signed by Valentino fashion house. The dress features ruffles, puff sleeves, high collar with self-tie scarf panels and an open back.
Last year, Masha wore an asymmetric frill dress by Lanvin and although I’m typically a big fan of her red-carpet outfits, these past two years at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party are not doing it for me. I’ve seen this bright green Valentino gown on the runway and it looks much better on dark-skin models. In my view, Masha’s most stunning off-court appearances were in David Koma. What do you say?
I agree, the past 2 years are flopped.
I prefered her in 2012 Alexander McQueen, the cotton candy mini dress.. Showed of her legs n that heels made her look like supermodel!
Ian, I agree, that’s her best ever Vanity Fair dress. When I mentioned David Koma, I thought that in general all his dresses looked stunning on Masha.
