As coronavirus lockdown measures are slowly lifting around the world and we can gradually return to tennis courts, Nike is releasing the Summer 2020 collection, which would have been debuted at Roland Garros had the tournament not been rescheduled from late May to late September.

Classic stripes characterize the visual identity of Kvitova’s high-performance Nike Summer Paris Dress and the blue-eyed Czech loves outfits that match her physical features:

What I like most about my outfit is the color for sure, I love blue. I think it’s a very nice shape and a nice color, so I’m really in love with it.

Mesh at the V neckline and generous cutout on the back provide ventilation.

Meant to be paired with the new dress is the bomber-style Nike Summer Paris Jacket. The Dri-FIT item features a ribbed collar, full-length zipper side pockets, elastic waistband and cuffs, and a NikeCourt logo at left chest.

If you want a streetwear-inspired look, you can opt for the soft, stretchy denim version of this warm-up essential.

Elina Svitolina combines the casual-looking Nike Summer Sleeveless Top and the deep night version of the elegant pleated Nike Summer Slam Skirt, which also exists in light carbon.

The top stands out with its tennis graphic printed on the front, as well as design details such as subtle pleats on the shoulders. The skirt plays with asymmetrical layered pleats and stripes in different directions.

The collection also offers the Nike Summer Polo Dress in a fun pattern featuring croissants, racquets, clay courts, hats, cans of tennis balls, and a flag that says “Bon Jeu.” The street-ready dress is made from a breathable pique fabric with Dri-FIT technology, making it a good choice for the course or court as well.

This whimsical print that pays homage to France is also featured in the new Nike Summer Crop Cotton Tank that exists in a variety of colors.

New Nike tennis shoes are all in the color crimson.

  1. I honestly dont like the shape of the dress, it looks like an apron for summer bbq.
But I love Svitolina’s street look, she looks bold and daring and ready to demolished everyone, at least in style!
Btw any news on Serena’s outfit?
It kills me that Serena’s Nike outfits are not on market for everyone to wear or see the dets anynore.

  2. Ian, I would wear what you call an apron dress as a casual summer look, but other options are much more flattering on the tennis court.

I absolutely love Svitolina’s skirt, that is the best design in this new collection, in my opinion. The denim jacket is also cool.

New news on Serena’s outfit yet. You know that Nike only sometimes releases a story behind Serena’s new looks. Otherwise, we are lucky to learn something ahead if Serena gives a sneak peek on Instagram. I also don’t understand Nike’s approach that Serena’s outfits are not available for purchase.

  3. Hmmm not loving Petra’s dress at all, or the tops with the little print. Elina’s skirt is good but I would prefer a plain top. Overall I’ve never really liked Nike’s designs. it’s like they are trying really hard and just not making it.
