After a successful week in Palermo amidst the coronavirus pandemic, the WTA is moving to the Prague Open, the second tennis tournament following a five-month break. Our Jimmie48 arrived to the event on Sunday, to photograph the second round of qualifying and practice sessions of top names such as Simona Halep, Elise Mertens, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Anastasija Sevastova, Genie Bouchard and her coach Rennae Stubbs.
Sunday’s qualifying winners that we have photos of include: Marta Kostyuk, third seed Tamara Korpatsch, Elena-Gabriela Ruse, and Magdalena Frech.
The final round of qualifying will take place on Monday, alongside the start of main-draw action as third seed Elise Mertens kicks off her singles campaign, while Simona Halep and Barbora Strycova team up in doubles.
