To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Miami-based tennis apparel manufacturer Lucky in Love partnered with California-based athletic shoe brand K-Swiss to create a special edition of the best-selling Hypercourt Express 2 women’s tennis shoe in the first of two special collaboration projects.

The new footwear style includes Lucky in Love’s anniversary messaging, delivering design features not present in any other K-Swiss tennis shoe model. The Hypercourt Express 2 x LIL is embellished by collaboration logos on the tongue and heel, as well as a customized sockliner. A translucent outsole and two different color lace options further elevate the unique look.

“Lucky In Love is a leading brand in our sport, and it is recognized for its new, fresh, fashion-forward designs and product. The passion and expertise their team brings is inspiring, and we are honored and thrilled to celebrate Lucky in Love’s 10th anniversary together,” said Mike Miringoff, K-Swiss Vice-President.

“We enjoyed working with K-Swiss throughout the process,” said Brad Singer, founder and owner of Lucky in Love. “K-Swiss’ tremendous business growth in footwear has been similar to ours in apparel, and we both have a strong women’s consumer base. As a result, the partnership was a natural fit. Our goal is to inspire women of all ages to feel amazing. By collaborating with K-Swiss on this fun and exciting project, we were able to do that.”

Did you know? K-Swiss was founded in 1966 by two Swiss brothers who developed interest in tennis after immigrating to the United States. The “K” stands for Künzli, a Swiss shoe manufacturer that was the brothers’ initial supplier of patent leather tennis shoes, while “Swiss” obviously stands for their origin.

Lucky in Love was founded in 2010 as a family-owned business that has five generations of sports and fashion apparel know-how. The tennis and golf apparel manufacturer successfully carries out its mission to deliver bold outfits that dare to be different and pushes the boundaries of performance-wear.

The Hypercourt Express 2 x LIL shoe will be launched on August 24th with a suggested retail price of $110.00.

  1. any news if they’ve signed Venus? She’s been wearing Kwiss shoes recently and they follow each other on Social Media

  2. Jeff, K-Swiss still hasn’t responded. But I don’t think it is an official agreement, because Venus is not tagging them in posts.
