Venus Williams has been wearing K-Swiss footwear for a while and were wondering whether that was an official partnership. Now we have confirmation that the seven-time Grand Slam champion is a K-Swiss ambassador. Today the WTA icon and the iconic brand established in California in 1966 launched a limited-edition capsule collection.

The 40-year-old has already built an activewear empire with her EleVen brand and now she’s further strengthening her presence in the fashion industry. The K-Swiss x EleVen by Venus Williams collection includes several apparel pieces and a Classic 66 lifestyle sneaker to complete a head-to-toe look.

Throughout the collection, Williams used surprise elements to make designs eye-catching. The American combined pop of colors like mint green amongst traditional blue and grey and added unique plaid details to represent a marriage between the two brand styles.

The Classic 66 x EleVen is a premium, limited-edition version of K-Swiss’ most famous shoe. It features Italian leather, EleVen branding details, and a distinctive red, white, and blue heel stripe.

One of the most personalized items is the MVP Varsity Jacket. Williams explains:

I put a lot of myself into this jacket, which is one of the reasons I love it so much. It has laid-back California vibes that remind me of where I’m from. We even embroidered one of my quotes onto the sleeve that says, ‘I’m just a kid from Compton who knew how to hit a ball,’ which I thought was a cool detail because it really takes me back to my roots. No matter where I go in life, I’ll never forget where I came from and I wanted this jacket to represent that.

Another standout piece is the plaid cropped short-sleeve tee made from recycled performance fiber called Repreve. Each T-shirt includes about seven recycled plastic bottles.

Other items in the new collection include the School Pride Varsity Sweater, the Razor Tank, the Racing Stripe Legging, the Prep Rally Hoodie, the Jogger Pant, the Sports Bra, and more.

Williams has been wearing these clothes as her work-from-home uniform and during her training. She assures that all the outfits meet the highest performance standards:

I’m already wearing the K-Swiss x EleVen by Venus Williams capsule collection on the court during training, and I can attest to the fact that it is a total game-changer. Like my other EleVen collections, this one was designed for high-level performance so I trust that it will be able to keep up with every forehand, backhand, volley, cross-court sprint — you name it, and I know any EleVen outfit can handle it. These pieces are as functional as they are fashionable and when I compete, I want to look and feel my best.

  1. Never a fan of Eleven collection, I thought majority of the designs are too forcing with just random patterns, and recycle dresses and tank top and skirts.
However there is always something elegant and feminine about K-Swiss, not to mention how comforting the shoes are.
I honestly think K-Swiss should just buy out Eleven empire like Dunlop did with Srixon.
And Venus Williams is the perfect representation of K-Swiss ambassador, and she should get a major contracts with K-Swiss instead (like she did with Reebok).

  2. Her tank tops and skirts ar staples in all her collections. She rarely repeats a dress. The prints are what make her stand out. Theres always something new and fress. Nike, reebok, fila, Adidas should take her course in design. The last few years Nike has been missing the mark BIG TIME
