After releasing the calendar for the first seven weeks of the season, the WTA has today announced a provisional tournament schedule all the way until Wimbledon in July.

As you’ll see, after the Australian Open, we’ll have one more tournament in Australia, a WTA 500 event, followed by the Qatar Total Open, Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy, Miami Open presented by Itaú, and so on until The Championships, Wimbledon, scheduled to start on June 28.

What you’ll notice is that the BNP Paribas Open is not listed here. The Indian Wells event will not take place in its original timeframe in March and it will be negotiated for a date later in the season.

In due course, the WTA will reveal further updates to the 2021 calendar.
