Iga Swiatek of Poland and Caroline Garcia of France are unveiling the latest Asics collection ready to be launched at the 2022 Australian Open.
Asics’ Melbourne apparel is all about an abstract, watercolor print that resembles clouds in the sky. The color palette is soft with vibrant accents, i.e. lilac and light blue are contrasted by a neon yellow. New footwear and accessories follow the same color scheme.
Asics is especially proud that the apparel is 100% sustainable — everything is made from recycled material.
The colorful, bright tank features a V-neck and rounded side slits. It is intended to be paired with a tennis classic, a white skort. Alternatively, a printed version of the skort will be available as well.
The collection also features a sleeveless dress, which will come in light blue, as we can see in this sketch.
Besides Swiatek and Garcia, WTA players sponsored by Asics are China’s Zhang Shuai and American Jennifer Brady. (photos courtesy of Asics)
