Fila joined forces with fashion designer Christopher Bevans to create a new tennis collection ready to be launched by Ashleigh Barty, Karolina Pliskova, Shelby Rogers and Ann Li at the 2022 BNP Paribas Open next week.

Christopher Bevans is an award-winning fashion designer and creative director with over 25 years of experience. Most importantly, he is an avid tennis player who has dressed top athletes and celebrities as part of his work with globally recognized streetwear and athletic brands.

After working with Fila on tennis-inspired Fila Renno x Bevans footwear introduced last September, the American designer is collaborating with the brand for the second time, creating the Bevans Park collection just in time for the Indian Wells tennis tournament.

This new tennis collection uses motifs and colors that reflect Bevans’ life story whilst also taking into account the BNP Paribas Open setting, such as the court colors and the sunny desert scenery. The nature-inspired palette features white, navy, green, pink, teal and hints of orange. Eclectic prints include geometric patterns and sonic wave designs, meant to reflect the powerful energy of top tennis players.

The women’s collection features 26 pieces in a range of silhouettes, including tennis dresses, tanks, skorts, shorts, a long-sleeve tee, a jacket, and pants, all with special Fila x Christopher Bevans interior labeling.

Ashleigh Barty Bevans Park Fila collection

World No.1 Ashleigh Barty will don a ceramic / cadmium orange / white version of the Fila Bevans Park Laser Racerback Tank, featuring contrast color bonded tape details down the center and front chest. A matching 13.5 inch Skort will complete the Australian’s outfit at the BNP Paribas Open.

Karolina Pliskova Indian Wells Fila collection

Karolina Pliskova‘s ensemble will consist of the Fila Bevans Park Day Break Tank, featuring a slimming center front panel and back cutlines, and a beetroot / white / navy 13.5 inch training Skort.

Shelby Rogers Bevans Park Fila collection

Shelby Rogers will sport the Fila Bevans Tennis Dress which includes mesh piecing at the center front chest, front quarter zipper and contrast binding at the neck and armholes. The dress is available in two color versions.

Ann Li Bevans Park Fila tennis collection

As we can see on Ann Li, the collection also boasts the Fila Bevans Park Crop Tank, while additional top options include the Full Coverage Tank and a breathable Long-Sleeve Tee. For mixing and matching, the collection’s bottoms also include the Fila Bevans Park Woven Short.

Fila Axilus 2 Energized Bevans Park collection

When it comes to tennis shoes, Fila-sponsored WTA players will wear an eccentric ceramic / vibrant orange / maritime blue colorway of the Axilus 2 Energized, matching back to the Bevans Park collection.

“Tennis was an important part of my upbringing and the opportunity to work with such an iconic brand in the sport and to see our vision on center court, on the world’s top tennis players, is a dream come true for me,” said Bevans. “As someone who plays the game myself, I know that designing for optimum performance is the priority. I wanted to create pieces that would enhance and not impede on the game, while at the same time, share my creative point of view and bring a unique new style and energy to the court.”

The Fila Bevans Park collection ranges from $60 to $100. It is already available at Tennis Warehouse USA.

  1. Fila has so much potential, but always fail to deliver in my eyes.
I liked Bartys AUS outfit because it was chic and classy…Fila should stick to the classic looks

  2. I like that Fila has so much variety. Also great when there’s matching men’s and women’s outfits. The AO designs weren’t bad. I liked the Baseline collection. The dress was simple but had unique touch with the plunging V on the back. The colors weren’t my favorite… but the design was unique enough for me to get it. I didn’t like the Foul Line collection as much (which is the one Ash Barty was wearing). Not a fan of that print.

The Wild Card dress from the US Open 2021 is one of the most unique designs I’ve seen in years. So beautiful, doesn’t even look like a tennis dress. It’s so unique that I feel a bit self conscious wearing it, so I only wear it when playing with friends vs during a competitive match.

  3. I really like the Wild Card 2021 dress! You should wear it more often!! It’s a very cool design!!

I suppose I more meant the colours Fila chooses..The bright and bold colours aren’t my favourite – but hey! I’m not wearing them, and they do look good on certain players.

I’m much more of a black, white, grey type of person! – i Just checked the FILA website, I much prefer the designs in deeper blues and whites

  4. @Jacob, glad you like the Wild Card dress. You have good taste! 😂

Yeah, the Baseline dress has rather hideous color options … Wish they picked another color scheme.
The design is unique enough for me to get it. The orange one looks hideous on me (although Shelby Rogers wore it well), so I think I will keep the fuschia one.

I bet you would love the 2019 heritage dress. The red, white, blue color scheme is so classic. Love the pinstripes too.
Picture still up on their website:
