Belgium’s Alison Van Uytvanck and Greet Minnen used to be the most famous LGBT couple on the WTA Tour. After about five years of dating, they got engaged in December 2020. However, less than a year after the engagement, the couple announced the split, saying that they had decided to take a break in their relationship. They are not playing doubles together any more, but Minnen was spotted watching Van Uytvanck from the stands at the 2022 BNP Paribas Open in March.
During the 2022 French Open, Alison Van Uytvanck posed with Emilie Vermeiren in front of the Eiffel Tower and posted the selfie on Instagram. The caption features a heart emoji and reads: “From Paris with love.” Vermeiren responded with a heart emoji and message: “Because everything is so much more fun with you.” Moreover, in Instagram stories, Van Uytvanck shared a photo of them hugging in a tennis club.
The winner of five singles and two doubles WTA titles Van Uytvanck played the French Open this week, but lost in the second round of both singles and doubles.
