The biggest tennis fashion news this month is that Iga Swiatek has joined the On team. Wearing her first outfit that bears the On logo, the world No.1 posed for photographer Jimmie48 in Miami.

Swiatek is wearing a predominantly navy sleeveless top and tennis skirt featuring an ombre effect on the right side. For the shoot, the 21-year-old chose On The Roger Centre Court White/Lavender Women’s Shoe, designed for casual all-day wear (not for the court).

Unfortunately, Swiatek has withdrawn from the Miami Open due to a rib injury, so we won’t get to see this outfit in action this month. Still, there will be plenty of opportunities for the three-time Grand Slam champion to promote her new clothing sponsor in the coming period.

On Running is a Swiss-based company that produces high-quality shoes and apparel. The company was founded in 2010 by Olivier Bernhard, three-time world duathlon champion and multiple Ironman winner, along with his friends David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti. On Running is best known for its innovative and unique running shoe design, which features “Cloud” technology – a series of individual pods on the sole of the shoe that provide both cushioning and stability.

The company has since expanded its product line to include a range of apparel and accessories, and has gained a strong following among athletes worldwide. The company’s first ever performance women’s and men’s tennis shoe came into existence after two years of research and testing, with the help of Roger Federer.

  1. ….it’s literally exactly the same as the Asics outfit she’s been wearing for like…the past 24 months lol.

  2. There’s some subtle differences to what we’re accustomed to from Swi. There’s a designer named Sunny Rabdul that tweaked a few things and I think it’s fresh enough to note. I remember when they’d do this for McEnroe and he’d rip the shirt and call it “pure crap”
