Naomi Osaka has become a mom! The four-time Grand Slam champion and her rapper boyfriend Cordae have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in Los Angeles.
The information has been published exclusively by People, whose source reveals that mother and daughter are doing well. The tennis star is yet to share the news on her social media profiles. Talking to his audience during a recent concert, Cordae seems to have said his daughter’s name – “Shy”, “Shai” or something along those lines. Listen:

The 25-year-old Osaka made her pregnancy announcement in January, after withdrawing from the Australian Open for unclear reasons. Last month she revealed the baby’s gender.
The former world No.1 has ambitious plans for her tennis career. She plans to return to the WTA Tour at the start of the 2024 season and with eight more Grand Slams.
