Just weeks after ending their highly-publicized relationship, Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas have rekindled their romance, deciding they can’t be without each other. However, the tennis couple now plans to keep their love life more private.

In early May, Badosa and Tsitsipas announced their decision to part ways, reflecting on a journey filled with love and learning. Their split was described as amicable. Their relationship had been intense and passionate, with the couple quickly labeling each other as soulmates. Not long after the breakup, Badosa and Tsitsipas were seen together in Monte Carlo, and the ATP player later confirmed their reconciliation.

In an interview with Greek publication SDNA, Tsitsipas shared the story of their reunion:

We’re together. Neither Paula did anything wrong, nor did I do anything wrong. It was hard for us being apart and I was going through some hard times too.

I would say that I didn’t manage it very well either, because I was feeling the pressure of the tour, of my work. It seemed like a mountain to combine these two (personal and professional life) and I made the decision to take a break.

After two-three weeks I realized that she is a woman who has supported me a lot and when she tried to talk to me about meeting I felt how intense the love we have for each other is. I realized that this relationship I have with Paula is completely different from any other relationship I have had in the past, I feel that she is my person and we understand each other. And that puts more value in everything I do and I want her by my side as often as possible. So yes, we’ve reconnected and we’re in good shape!

The next day, Badosa confirmed Tsitsipas’ account while speaking to the media at Roland Garros:

The relationship is working very well now. He already explained. I have nothing else to say.

I think one of the things that I didn’t like or we didn’t like is that it was very public, so now we want to keep things a little bit more on our own. I still understand that it’s not going to be easy because we are two public people, public person, and people will ask, but we want to keep it more for ourselves because it’s never easy to combine our careers to that.

Badosa and Tsitsipas first made their relationship public in June 2023, captivating fans with glimpses of their intimate moments. Their social media was filled with affectionate photos, showcasing their bond through hugs, kisses, and shared laughter. They even had a joint Instagram account, Tsitsidosa.

The news of their relationship came as a major surprise at the time, especially since Badosa had recently ended her long-term relationship with Cuban model Juan Betancourt — actually, the breakup was still being just a rumor. (source: Tennis Now)
