The retired WTA player shared the happy news on social media, posting a heartwarming photo of her newborn with the caption, “Welcome little Bo,” alongside the birth date. In another photo, Bertens is seen in her hospital bed, beaming as she poses with baby Bo, her husband Remko, and their first child, a son named Mats, who was born in April 2022.

Bertens had previously announced her second pregnancy in January, sharing a charming photo of her toddler Mats reading a book. The caption read, “New chapter… Summer 2024,” accompanied by an emoji of a family of four.

During her 12-year professional career, Kiki Bertens won 10 WTA singles titles and 10 doubles titles. Her Grand Slam highlights include reaching the semifinals of the 2016 French Open and the quarterfinals at Wimbledon in 2018. Her final singles match was a hard-fought loss to Marketa Vondrousova, 6-4 3-6 6-4, in the first round of the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
