Pliskova, a former world No. 35, has been away from the WTA Tour since the Astana Open in September 2021, having stepped back from professional tennis to focus on family life. She and Hancko became parents for the first time in 2022 when they welcomed their son, Adam. Now, their growing family has expanded with the arrival of baby Dominik.
Earlier this year, Kristyna delighted fans by announcing her pregnancy through a touching photo that featured the whole family. Dressed casually in beachwear and sunglasses, she was seen lovingly cradling her baby bump, while Hancko stood beside her, gently holding her belly. Their young son Adam leaned in to kiss his unborn sibling.
The couple’s love story has been followed closely by fans since they first went public with their relationship. Pliskova and Hancko got engaged in July 2021, and later that year, in December 2021, they announced they were expecting their first child. They married in February 2022 in a small, intimate ceremony.
