We are set for an all-Czech Wimbledon 2026 women’s final! Linda Noskova won the second semifinal, defeating Ukraine’s Marta Kostyuk 6-4 6-4 to join Karolina Muchova in the championship match.

The first set stayed on serve until the very end. After both players opened the final stretch with love holds, Noskova stepped up her return game in Kostyuk’s service game at 5-4, earning the decisive break and quietly taking the set on her first set point when Kostyuk double-faulted. Noskova was dominant behind her first serve, winning 89% of points when she landed it.

Calm and composed, seemingly in no rush and unbothered by the occasion of playing her first Grand Slam semifinal, Noskova continued to build her advantage, breaking for a 3-1 lead in the second set with a love break. Kostyuk, however, responded with a three-game run to level the contest. After 30 minutes of play, the players were locked at 4-4.

Just as she had in the opening set, Noskova’s patience and consistency paid off, earning her two match points on Kostyuk’s serve. The ninth seed converted the second opportunity when the 12th-seeded Kostyuk committed an error, sealing her place in the final.

Noskova joins fellow Czech Karolina Muchova in the championship match, after Muchova edged Coco Gauff earlier on Thursday. Saturday’s final will guarantee a new Grand Slam champion.
