Alexandra Eala‘s commercial stock is rising as fast as her ranking. Just days after making history as the first Filipina to win a WTA singles title, the 21-year-old has landed a major new partnership with Marriott Bonvoy, becoming the face of its Tennis The World campaign across Asia Pacific excluding China.

Eala has spent the past year turning herself from an exciting young prospect into one of the most recognizable new faces in women’s tennis. Naturally, brands are taking notice.

Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s global travel loyalty program, has named Eala its APEC ambassador for Tennis The World, a campaign built around bringing members closer to the sport through travel and exclusive experiences.

“Alex embodies so much of what Marriott Bonvoy stands for,” said John Toomey, Chief Commercial Officer, APEC, Marriott International. “She is authentic, inspiring, and proudly connected to the region we serve.”

“Travel has always been such a meaningful part of my journey as a tennis player. Every tournament brings the opportunity to experience new places, meet new people and create memories that stay with you long after the match is over. I’m excited to partner with Marriott Bonvoy because they share that same belief in the power of travel and meaningful experiences, and I can’t wait to connect with fans through this partnership,” said Eala.

Marriott Bonvoy members get early Australian Open access

Marriott Bonvoy members now have exclusive pre-sale access to Australian Open 2027 tickets, with the program returning for its sixth year as the tournament’s Official Hotel Partner.

The 2027 Australian Open will be played January 11–31 at Melbourne Park, and Marriott Bonvoy members can get their tickets before the general sale using the exclusive code sent to them by email. The pre-sale closes August 12 at 11:59 p.m. AEDT, so fans interested in getting early access and the best seats will need to act quickly.

And tickets are only the beginning. Marriott Bonvoy says more Moments involving Eala and the Australian Open will be announced in the months ahead, including opportunities for fans to meet the WTA star.

Marriott is the latest name on Eala’s ever-growing sponsor list

This isn’t Eala’s first major commercial partnership. Far from it. She already has an increasingly impressive group of brands behind her.

Global giant Nike has been part of Eala’s professional journey since 2019, supplying her on-court apparel and footwear. If you love her dynamic style, you can check out her latest available gear on Tennis Warehouse. Also, don’t miss our exclusive preview of her basketball-inspired US Open dress.

On the equipment side, her trusted racquet partner is Babolat, the iconic French brand that has sponsored her since her junior days. She currently commands the courts with her spin-friendly setup; here you can find her Babolat Pure Aero 2026.

Then there are several major Filipino brands: Globe Telecom, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), MILO Philippines chocolate drink, and juice brand Locally.

And now Marriott Bonvoy has joined the party.
