Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff have officially qualified for the 2026 WTA Finals at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, securing their places at the season-ending championships for the fifth consecutive year.

The American stars join world No. 1 Elena Rybakina, Indian Wells and Miami champion Aryna Sabalenka, Roland Garros winner Mirra Andreeva and Wimbledon champion Linda Noskova among the six players who have secured qualification. With eight singles spots available at the November tournament, only two places remain to be decided.
Across her four previous appearances at the WTA Finals, Pegula finished as runner-up in 2023 and made the semifinals in 2025. The Buffalo native has reached five finals this season, winning the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships and the Credit One Charleston Open. She was also runner-up in Cincinnati, Berlin and Washington, D.C.
Gauff won the WTA Finals in 2024, becoming the first American to claim the title in 10 years. In 2026, the 22-year-old won the Cincinnati Open and reached the finals in Miami and Rome. She also made the Wimbledon and US Open semifinals and reached the Australian Open quarterfinals.
