The 33-year-old Hungarian tennis star recently took to her official Instagram profile to announce the arrival of her first child. Sharing a photo of the newborn’s tiny feet tenderly cradled in the hands of both parents, Babos revealed that the baby had actually arrived over a month prior.

In her emotional caption, she wrote:

“Still unbelievable that you were born over a month ago already. You are a miracle, thank you for choosing us to be your parents, we love you so much!”

The baby’s father is Zoltan Nemeth, Babos’ fitness and strength coach. Their professional partnership eventually blossomed into romance, with the couple beginning their relationship in early 2021.

Babos first revealed her plans to start a family in late 2025 during a press conference organized by the Hungarian Tennis Federation. At the time, she announced that she would take a break from professional tennis to focus on her personal life.

“I want to try other things for a year and a half, two years,” Babos explained. “My fiancé and I plan to start a family, and I would like to return with a protected ranking in 2028, in order to compete in the Los Angeles Olympic Games.”

The most successful Hungarian tennis player, who has also claimed three WTA singles titles, brought a remarkable chapter of her career to a close at the 2026 Australian Open, where she and partner Leylah Fernandez suffered an opening-round defeat in doubles.
