This is the retired tennis star’s first child. The baby daddy is 42-year-old Alexander Gilkes, a rich British businessman with royal connections. They started dating publicly in early 2018.
When they announced engagement in December 2020, Sharapova said: “I said yes from the first day we met. This was our little secret, wasn’t it.” Her fiancé shared his emotions on social media: “Thank you for making me a very very happy boy. I look forward to a lifetime of loving you, and learning from you.”
