Justine Henin won a match in Cairo, Egypt, one more successful exhibition ahead of her eagerly-anticipated comeback in January.
In an exo just about a week ago, Henin had beaten world No.12 Flavia Pennetta, and now her latest victim was world No.20 Nadia Petrova. Final score in the Cairo exhibition event held over the weekend was 7-6 6-2.

That’s awesome! Marija, don’t know if you know this, but when Justine comes back, what ranking does she have? Does she have any points? Or does she have to start over? I know Kim played in a couple of tournaments prior to the US Open, and is now #18 in the world, so I’m curious as to how this works out for Justine.
Lilly, Henin’s ranking is not protected and she’ll be unranked. She’ll enter the tournaments thanks to wildcards. Kim was unranked when she returned as well, but the US Open victory propelled her into the Top 20.
We ‘ll see
it seems like you had to take a dig at Serena losing to Oudin,in the scheme of things its meaningless and wont change the fact that Serena is more accomplished than Justine and she and her sister defined the 00s.Justine is coming back so she is obviously fresh but the 2010 season will be defining for the sisters they will be extra motivated to accomplish more.
More accomplished? Where did you get that from? That’s probably why she loses early at almost all non-slam tournaments…
Justine and Kim will dominate 2010,the level of the game since they left dropped a fair bit, but now we can look forward to some serious competition 🙂 Alleez!
