The French Open is in full swing, but in the back of our minds we’re already thinking about the approaching Wimbledon, and so are the tennis fashion designers. The Nike-clad world No.1 and No.2 will both wear white dresses with contrasting necklines in vibrant blue/lime.
Victoria Azarenka‘s departure from shorts will continue. The Belarusian will stick with Nike Women’s Tie Breaker Knit Dress that she’s working at Roland Garros, only the London version, in white.
Maria Sharapova‘s fashion choice for Wimbledon is Nike Slam Statement Dress that we’ve actually already had a glimpse at, two months ago, when the French Open apparel of her and Serena Williams was revealed.
At the ongoing French Open, the second-seeded Sharapova today advanced to the third round with a confident 6-1 6-1 win over Ayumi Morita, in a match that was delayed from tomorrow due to the too long matches that preceded. Top seed Victoria Azarenka will take Court Suzanne Lenglen against Aleksandra Wozniak later today, to work her way to the fourth round.
And back to the Wimbledon fashion, here you can see what Adidas has prepared for Ana Ivanovic – the Adizero line dress. (source: The Slice)
