After finishing runner-up at the 2013 French Open, Maria Sharapova is sitting out the Wimbledon lead-up period, but this time in the stands, supporting her boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov at the AEGON Championships. The Russian took a train to London and cheered for her new partner during his first-round victory over Dudi Sela on Monday, the first day of the tournament at Queens Club.
On the fashion front, Sharapova is not taking a break. Today she released new photos of her Nike Women’s London Premier Maria Flounce Dress.
Canadian Eugenie Bouchard accompanied Sharapova in the photoshoot.
Additional news: Where there is Sharapova, there is money. Alongside Serena Williams and Li Na, Sharapova made the Forbes magazine’s Top 100 World’s Highest Paid Athletes list for 2013 and the WTA players are the only three women on the list. Sharapova is the leader, occupying spot No.22 as the top-earning female athlete for the ninth straight year, with $29 million.
