Radwanska’s Toronto dress: Shiny silver wasn’t enough, Lotto goes gold and adds lace to it!

After a dull start of the season, Lotto pushed the boundaries in spring with the lace dress Agnieszka Radwanska launched at Indian Wells, then the brand left us speechless with the silver disco ball dress (officially called the Lotto Lux Diamond Dress), and just when we thought the limit has been reached, we realize that Lotto wants to shock til we drop.

This week at the Rogers Cup, Aga introduced an even bolder version of the silver dress — a metallic one, with lace! Can Lotto go any further than this? Well, judging by what we’ve seen from them so far, I’m sure they actually can.

This Lotto Lux Metallic Dress has been available at retail for quite a few weeks, but now we got to see it on Aga in action and it has been the talk of the tournament. Even WTA players shared their reactions on Twitter.

And here’s how Agnieszka herself describes it:

I thought that the silver one was a good attention-grabber, but this metallic lace print is too much for me. What do you say? I want to hear your thoughts in the comments.

  1. CLT, look at the poll, it seems that tennis fans are divided into two equal halves. On Twitter I got similar reactions.

  2. I don’t like the gold as well, but it’s pretty hilarious, which I think is what lotto is going for. However, the silver one looked really cool in action during Aga’s night match in Stanford!

  3. Ga, I also think they’re going for the attention no matter what, which is actually smart in today’s world. However, I find it interesting that 50% of people actually like that style.

  4. When I first saw it, I was about to say something like “hopefully, we get an early exit again” or something like that…It seemed a bit rude, though, but it should be OK now I guess? :)))

  5. Claire, don’t worry. 🙂 But it amazes me that as the number of votes in the poll keeps increasing, the percentage of people voting “yes” and “no” stays equal.

  6. It reminds me of Aravane Rezai’s gold kit…
But nèh, the silver one was over the top, but this one tops it of.

I must admit Aga has humor 😀
