Bulgarian Tsvetana Pironkova joins Venus Williams, Kirsten Flipkens, Sania Mirza, Chris Evert, Martina Hingis, Dominika Cibulkova, Maria Sharapova and other WTA players in the tennis fashion world by creating her own clothing line called Pironetic. For the new apparel launch the world No.131 chose her beloved Wimbledon, where she recorded her best Grand Slam result by making the 2010 semifinals.
The 29-year-old Pironkova, who describes herself as a fashion addict, posted the above photo on Instagram and said:
I am happy and excited to present you “PIRONETIC”! It’s been my secret project for the last year and so, and even though me and my team are still working on it, I decided it’s time for “PIRONETIC” to make its debut. What better place to do so than my favorite tournament – Wimbledon!
On Tuesday, in the first round of Wimbledon, Pironkova defeated Sara Errani 6-1 6-4 and will next play fifth seed Caroline Wozniacki, who eliminated Timea Babos in round one.
By the way, Pironkova will soon celebrate her one-year marriage anniversary with Mihail Mirchev.
