Venus Williams’ EleVen Morning Glory off-season fashion story

0

Whether we’re in the middle of the season or players are relaxing at remote locations getting ready for the Aussie Swing, Venus Williams is busy promoting new collections from her EleVen activewear company. A month ago I gave you a sneak peek at EleVen designs ready for 2019, but even though tennis is in the off-season, Venus didn’t allow herself to get lazy and released the Morning Glory collection.

The palette used in the Morning Glory is simple: lime popsicle, black, white and grey. However, the finished look is not plain, as V created a busy print and incorporated fishnet insets. Here you can see the American in the EleVen Glory Lattice Dress, whose cap sleeves and entire back are made of black fishnet mesh.

EleVen’s Instagram also shows these medium-rise Morning Glory Wrap Up Leggings, again featuring dominant power mesh insets.

On these two models we can see the Morning Glory Post Tank Top and Morning Glory Love Tank, combined with basic leggings and skirt.

All Venus’ collections nurture bold prints, but don’t forget that she also always offers solids, so if you are not into colorful patterns, you can always match discreet tanks and skirts.

Here’s just one example of a basic, yet very nice outfit you can create with the Morning Glory collection, combining the grey version of the Love Tank and Fly Skirt.

Just like every EleVen collection, this one incorporates a variety of tanks, skirts, capris, as well as a hoodie, backpack, and a visor.

As I mentioned in the 2019 EleVen sneak peek, Venus will probably wear the Caracas collection in Australia, so these Morning Glory clothes will maybe never be seen in action at a WTA tournament.
