The final round of qualifying was played on Sunday, December 30th, at the Brisbane International, welcoming Anastasia Potapova, Marie Bouzkova, Harriet Dart and Destanee Aiava into the main draw of the Premier-level tournament. Meanwhile, top players were practicing and chatting with the media, while Sloane Stephens and Petra Kvitova entertained the audience at the Kids Day.
When it comes to qualifying, our Jimmie48 attended Destanee Aiava‘s victory over Christina McHale and Marie Bouzkova three-set win over Viktorija Golubic. Donna Vekic, Karolina Pliskova, Elise Mertens and Ajla Tomljanovic were caught practicing on site, while others were talking to journalists and fans, including defending champion Elina Svitolina and Daria Gavrilova, who showed off her engagement ring.
