Tennis mom Kateryna Bondarenko is now in the eighth month of pregnancy, expecting her second child with husband Denis Volodko, as Ukrainian media are reporting.
Kateryna married Denis in 2011 and gave birth to daughter Karin in 2013. The 32-year-old Ukrainian has won two WTA singles titles, one before and one after her first pregnancy — Birmingham 2008 and Tashkent 2017. Her doubles career lists the 2008 Australian Open title with her sister Alona.
The last tournament Bondarenko competed in was the US Open in late August 2018, so we can conclude that she played the tournament pregnant, just like many WTA players have been doing recently.
