Saturday’s semifinal schedule at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix was not as fulfilling as it was supposed to be, because world No.1 Naomi Osaka withdrew from the tournament prior to her meeting with Anett Kontaveit. Petra Kvitova and Kiki Bertens partially made up for that, though, entertaining us with a good three-setter in the afternoon.
Even though we missed seeing Osaka and Kontaveit on the court, we have many nice photos from their press conferences, thanks to our photographer Jimmie48. We don’t often see Osaka with glasses! 🙂 Also, pay attention to wonderful black-and-white shots of Kvitova and Bertens’ chat before their clash.
Jimmie48 was shortly present at one doubles semifinal, so we have photos of Mona Barthel and Anna-Lena Friedsam, who will face Lucie Safarova and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the title match.
