Fila introduces new Heritage collection at the season’s final WTA tournaments

Fila is capping the 2019 tennis season with a new edition of the timeless Heritage collection, rooted in nostalgia with a clear vision of what’s to come. The Italian company’s familiar foundation of red, white and navy is complemented by cool-hued pops of pastel lilac. At the ongoing Hengqin Life WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai, world No.10 Kiki Bertens is rocking the Fila Fall Heritage Dress, another stunning execution of a classic sleeveless design that combines just three evergreen colors.

A contrast red belt inset defines the waist. Both the back and the neckline are V-shaped. The dress features Fila’s traditional pinstripes — chevron above the waistline and vertical at the skirt.

World No.1 Ashleigh Barty, world No.2 Karolina Pliskova and doubles world No.6 Timea Babos will debut the feminine silhouettes and clever-cut classics of the Heritage collection in the elite field at the Shiseido WTA Finals Shenzhen.

On one of the game’s biggest stages, Australia’s Ashleigh Barty will introduce the navy Heritage Racerback Tank paired with a classic solid white skort, shown above.

Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic will go for full pinstripe attire in the classy Heritage Sleeveless Polo, featuring blocks of white on the sides to match the white collar, and a coordinating Striped Skort.

Hungary’s Timea Babos, who will try to complete a hat-trick of doubles titles at the WTA Finals, will pair the Heritage Halter Tank in navy – trimmed in white at the neck and armholes – and a solid white skort.

As you can notice, there is no sight of color lilac that I mentioned in the introduction, but all the items shown above exist in three versions: navy, white and pastel lilac.
