Serena Williams stars in the 2020 campaign for footwear brand Stuart Weitzman, which highlights women as pillars of hope and optimism for their communities.

To visually represent this innate strength and confidence, Serena posed on a platform, standing tall while wearing a white bodysuit with a matching blazer and trench coat paired with different elegant shoe models. The American is a boss, so it was natural for her to bring out that attitude while being photographed by Ethan James Green for the black-and-white campaign.

“Now, more than ever, is a moment to focus on hope and moving forward,” Serena explains. “I want women of every generation to be inspired to do so, one step at a time.”

The new campaign is also part of Stuart Weitzman’s ongoing philanthropic partnership with Vital Voices Global Partnership, an international nonprofit dedicated to investing in women leaders who drive global change.

  1. Difficult to be a pillar of optimism and hope when you can hardly walk because of your stupid high-heeled shoes.

  2. CLT, haha good one. Although a lot of women love to wear high-heeled shoes, even when they are uncomfortable, they do feel prettier and empowered.
