Donna Vekic is the 24th ranked women’s tennis player in the world, but she could be just as highly positioned in the modeling industry, as we can conclude from her latest magazine photoshoot for Elle Croatia.
The 24-year-old Vekic is a prominent representative of Nike on the tennis court, but switching from sports apparel to elegant clothes is apparently not a step out of the comfort zone for the Croatian beauty. The focus of her appearance in the September issue of Elle Croatia is definitely on the photos, as she models the pre-fall collection by Zagreb designer Aleksandra Dojcinovic and her Lei Lou fashion label.
The magazine feature will be accompanied by an interview, as Vekic discusses her new modeling role, the effect the coronavirus pandemic has had on her life and things she’s looking forward to in the future.
Dokic’s next tournament appearance will be at the Western & Southern Open in New York, where she is expected to launch Nike’s new apparel that pays homage to Andre Agassi’s iconic Challenge Court collection from 1990.
