So many tennis players are resuming the season with new racquets. After Serena Williams’ unveiling of the Wilson Blade SW102 Autograph and Naomi Osaka’s limited-edition Yonex EZONE, Babolat-sponsored WTA stars are showing their new Pure Drive racquet.

Amanda Anisimova, Garbine Muguruza, Karolina Pliskova, and Kim Clijsters will all use the new Pure Drive at the upcoming US Open, while Julia Goerges, who is not playing in New York, had time to share a photo with her new gear on Twitter, saying “More powerful than ever with my new PureDrive.”

The Pure Drive’s updates include extended wrapping of SMAC, which disperses the vibrations compared to the previous version. Similarly, the optimized diamond grommets allow for a bigger sweet spot and maximum power. Explosive acceleration and spin-friendly targeting make this racquet a dangerous weapon from the baseline, while its outstanding all-court mobility allows players to hit winners on the run or finish points at net. I’ll have more information when Babolat officially launches the product.

If you want to demo this racquet, you can do so at Tennis Warehouse.
