New Balance’s neo flame apparel ready to set the US Open on fire

6

I stopped by New Balance‘s website and I noticed a number of striking red pieces tagged “new”, so I assume that those are tennis clothes for the upcoming US Open. Just like Yonex, New Balance is going for all red, actually some sort of orangey red, which they call neo flame.

The New Balance Tournament Tank features white contrast bonded binding and criss-cross straps on the back. It is supposed to be matched with the Tournament Skirt, a simple yet highly sophisticated design made from lightweight stretch mesh fabric. The skirt includes knit inner short and mesh phone/ball pocket at left thigh.

The New Balance Tournament Dress is a long version of the tank, with side split hem for added skirt movement.

Departing from the all-red color scheme is the New Balance Printed Tournament Tank, the standout item in the new collection. The frame-like red lines that break up the all-over print are an interesting choice. The base color of the tank is called light aluminium.

The entire New Balance range includes the NB DRY moisture-wicking technology that pulls sweat away from the body to keep players cool and comfortable.

  1. The Romanian player Sorana Cirstea wore what looked like something from New Balance to me, it was yesterday, the 3 rd of September when she played Jo Konta.
Does anybody know where to get that outfit, it looks amazing, it seemed to me it had a sheen to it, my reception of US Open is not great, but this is what it looked like.

  2. Tyana, I know the outfit you’re talking about, but I haven’t seen that specific tank and skort neither at Tennis Warehouse or at New Balance’s website. It is definitely from the latest Fall collection, but only grey version of the printed skort is available and also the grey version of the tank. Coco Gauff was dressed in red separates and her outfit is also not available, at least I haven’t found it.

  3. Maybe they are going to put it for sale somewhere, i particularly like that skirt! It can be paired up with any white top really.
I love the bright colours, but don’t wear them myself, they are left in the wardrobe
If you see that skirt somewhere please share, the one in tennis warehouse is different.
Enjoy US open eduring these strange times eceryone!

  4. Tyana, I will let you know if I come across it somewhere! You’re right, it is a stunning outfit, although I prefer this grey skirt and grey top.
