New Balance tennis outfits for 2020 Roland Garros

The French Open is just around the corner. Some players will wear the same clothes as they did at the US Open, but those sponsored by New Balance will have new gear, which has actually already been launched at recent clay-court tournaments.

At the Internazionali BNL d’Italia, Coco Gauff sported the New Balance Printed Tournament Tank and Tournament Skort. The outfit combines colors eclipse and bali blue. Her New Balance WC 996v4 shoes are also in bali blue. At the upcoming French Open, Danielle Collins is expected to wear this combo.

The 16-year-old Gauff has established herself as New Balance’s leading player, so she’ll have a custom look at Roland Garros. I don’t have photos of it now, but I saw some sketches and the cut is similar to her red US Open outfit. The tank again has that asymmetrical neckline and back straps, but this time it has all-over dotted print. The skirt will be solid eclipse with striped waistband, matching the color of the tank.

Coco’s outfit won’t be available for purchase, just as her US Open look wasn’t.

Other New Balance players will all wear items from the company’s in-line collection, so consumers can buy exactly what they are seeing on the court. Here are some of the pieces.

Misaki Doi has already launched her new look in Rome: the Rally Court Tank and Printed Rally Skort.

Heather Watson and Sorana Cirstea are both going to wear the Printed Tournament Dress and/or the Printed Rally Court Tank and Printed Rally Skort in color eclipse. The dress and the tank feature the dotted print, while the skort is striped and you can see it above.

Here’s a photo of Watson wearing the dress in Istanbul this month.
