Neptune Athletics launches Fear the Trident collection

Neptune Athletics has been present on the WTA courts since January, when doubles world No.13 Nicole Melichar started wearing the trident logo. After months of delays due to the pandemic, the new brand is finally being officially launched and their first of many collections, “Fear the Trident”, is now available for purchase.

Neptune Athletics founders Don Mann, a former SEAL TEAM SIX Commander and extreme adventure racer, and Patrick Frandji, a former pro tennis player and renowned coach, felt there was something missing from the fitness apparel industry — a connection of physical fitness and mindset.

Inspired by Don’s internationally acclaimed motivational training and book, Reaching Beyond Boundaries, Neptune Athletics was conceived to make Don’s message of strength, goal setting, mindset and resilience all the more tangible. Don and his team have been athletes their entire lives and wanted to create something that combines the passion they have for fitness with the passion they have for bettering their lives as a whole.

Nicole Melichar joined the Neptune family at the end of 2019 and it didn’t take her long to earn Neptune Athletics their first tennis title with her win at the 2020 Adelaide International in January. The Czech-born American played a key role in the fabric and design testing of both women’s gym and tennis collections.

As you know, Neptune is the god of freshwater and the sea in Roman religion and trident is one of his symbols. The logo and name of Neptune Athletics were chosen because of Don’s Navy SEAL career, as the SEALS are embodiment of the blood, sweat, and tears one must endure to reach beyond boundaries.
