American world No.75 Lauren Davis has signed a tennis clothing deal with an emerging brand called Neptune Athletics. The company is recognizable for its trident logo, which represents Neptune, the god of freshwater and the sea in Roman religion.
Neptune Athletics has been present on the courts since January 2020. Their first WTA representative was American doubles world No.11 Nicole Melichar. When it comes to the ATP Tour, Neptune Athletics representatives are Aljaz Bedene and Bjorn Fratangelo.
The company was founded by Don Mann, a former SEAL TEAM SIX Commander and extreme adventure racer, and Patrick Frandji, a former pro tennis player and renowned coach. They teamed up to create something that combines the passion they have for fitness with the passion they have for bettering their lives as a whole.
The 27-year-old Davis used to wear Diadora, as you can see in this photo from September 2019.
