Fila today announced an extension of its sponsorship of world number one Ashleigh Barty. To celebrate the re-signing of the tennis star, Fila created the “Barty Bundle” and brand-new “AB” logo.
Fila has sponsored Barty since 2016 and watched the 24-year-old Australian rise to the top of the WTA rankings, capture her maiden Grand Slam title at Roland Garros, and become one of the most well-recognized and highly-regarded ambassadors for the sport.
To commemorate the continuation of their successful partnership, Fila came up with an exclusive, limited promotional package which includes a custom-made Ash Barty practice tee and a face mask, both with “AB” logo. This gifting will be available to female junior tennis players at various tennis academies in Australia and the United States, as well as via Barty’s social media channels.
Barty is happy to continue to wear Fila on the court:
Fila has been by my side through the most exciting times of my career, and I could not be more delighted that they will continue to support me in my tennis journey. They have been an integral part of my success on the court, and I am honored to continue to represent such an iconic brand with a rich heritage in tennis and beyond.
At the upcoming Australian Open, Barty and other Fila-sponsored athletes will wear the Back Court collection, which combines colors navy, lime and light purple. In these photos we can see Barty wearing the Back Court Full Coverage Tank and Back Court A-Line Skirt.
This year marks the 110th anniversary of the Fila brand, which was established by the Fila brothers of Biella, Italy.
