Adidas surprises with Prime Knit tennis outfits

While we’re in the midst of the Australian Open, where Adidas launched two collections, I came across more new three-stripe apparel at Tennis Warehouse Europe.

At the Grand Slam in Melbourne, Kristina Mladenovic presented Adidas x Parley Spring/Summer 2021 collection inspired by the Grand Barrier Reef, while Angelique Kerber, Garbine Muguruza and Maria Sakkari debuted PRIMEBLUE x HEAT.RDY clothes. Since so many new designs have been released in the last few weeks, I was surprised when I saw another new collection, the Prime Knit, at the online retailer’s website.

The Adidas Prime Knit Dress in wild pink is all about technical construction. Seams are minimized to increase the level of comfort. The solid-colored dress brings visual interest through a variety of textures that include engineered zones and laser cutouts. When it comes to foowear, the model is wearing the Adizero Ubersonic 4 women’s shoes.

The Adidas Prime Knit Tank breaks new ground with its loose cropped back, whereas the front retains a regular, waist length. Just like other items in this range, the stylish tank includes engineered zones which increase ventilation and also give the edge to this unusual design.

The Adidas Prime Knit Top and Adidas Prime Knit Skirt are reimagined classics.

All the pieces in this collection are partly made from recycled ocean plastic, as Adidas is on a mission to decrease the amount of plastic waste that ends up in our ecosystems.
